The move became necessary following the rise in cases of patients with Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Reacting to the development, Ezekwesili, in a series of tweets on her Twitter page on Sunday night, wondered why it had to take so much drama to get President Buhari to address Nigerians in this challenging period of COVID-19 pandemic.
Ezekwesili tweeted: “The speech @NGRPresident read was quite substantial and helped to bring all the separate interventions into an integrated response strategy to Nigerians.
